I've tested the patch, made some small changes, added two more patches
(doc entry, ssl) and deployed it:
These are the changes I made to your patch:
Reworded the commit log entry to be more verbose.
Fixed a typo: s/u/req/
Use req.content instead of req.text as the script deals with binary data.
Kept the headers variable as-is.
