Thanks for doing this.

It says

  Rebuilt Debian packages should carry distribution specific suffix to
  avoid confusion with possibly API/ABI-incompatible original packages
  provided from Debian archives.

does that mean version suffix, or package name suffix? I think it should
be explicit.
