Hi,

Hi,

With Lucas Nussbaum, we thought that the BTS needs a tool to search in
the database.

How about add it in the devscripts and host the server side & the web
front end on a debian server?

I believe there is already Hyperestraier. Wouldn't it be sufficient?

Hyperestraier is a generic searcher, not specific to the BTS. With a dedicated tool, we could have powerful functionnalities with an easy handling. And due to Xapian, with an high performance of search also (like axi-cache).

You will find attached a deb version of Bunny, which uses a personnal server (at home, possible latence) which hosts about 1500 bug reports.

e.g. "bunny -d +s package:gnome --color"

Greetings,
ju.
