Package: debbug
Severity: minor

I recently submitted a bug report to submit@bugs.debian.org. I received
an acknolwedgement from the BTS assigning it bug #219055, and setting
the reply-to header to 219055@bugs.debian.org. I had additional
information to send, so I replied to the acknolwedgement, and my message
went to the right place.

Another acknowledgement came, indicating that the additional information
had been received. However, no reply-to was set. I had even more
additional information to send, so without looking, I replied to this
message as I had done previously. My message went to
owner@bugs.debian.org, which is not what I intended.

I believe that the second "info received" message should have contained
a reply-to header set to 219055@bugs.debian.org. My reasoning is:
 - this is generally what users intend by replying
 - it's confusing otherwise. Even though detailed instructions are
provided below, I didn't read them. The BTS messages are generally
pretty long, and I assumed that behavior that worked with one would
work in an analagous situation. I suspect that this is common among
   users.

I've marked this as 'minor' as it is clearly of low importance. It may
even be downgraded to 'wishlist' if you see fit. There may also be other
instances of this problem in the system -- this is the only one I've
come across.

I've gone ahead and fixed the inconsistent reply-to in my change to
allow full mime of every single message; it hasn't been included in an
upload, but since I think this was a Debian bts installation specific
bug, I'm going to go ahead and close it.
