Package: bugs.debian.org
Severity: normal

Email headers can contain only 7 bit ASCII characters. Because of this,
names that need 8 bits must be quoted printable encoded in the "From:"
line. For example my name "Markus Järvinen" is encoded as "Markus
=?iso-8859-1?Q?J=E4rvinen?=" in email messages. However MUAs show such
names in the readable form, if configured properly. It would be nice if
the web interface of the BTS would also convert such names in the same
manner. Currently those names are shown in the raw form, which looks very
ugly. ("quoted unreadable" as the common joke goes.)
