v-t and removed packages

Can someone answer the following question?

12:34 < tbm> Kamion: (how) does v-t affect the way I close bugs for removed
packages? Should I include some kind of version header?
12:58 < jvw> tbm: yeah, otherwise the BTS will assume the bug doesn't apply
anywhere anymore
12:59 < huggie> If the package has been removed isn't that exactly tbm's
intention?
12:59 < jvw> tbm: Maybe even this closing isn't needed anymore as now the
BTS knowing those bugs are no longer in unstable... but ttbomk, there isn't
really something working-well yet for closing bugs upon transition etc
12:59 < jvw> huggie: well, the bug *does* apply to testing still, or to
stable, if the package is available there
13:00 < huggie> jvw: ah, good point.
13:00 < tbm> jvw: yeah, ideally v-t would just know that a package has been
removed but I've no idea if that's the case. Kamion?
