Understanding contents.py

Hi,

I am a GSoC fellow working for Debian under Mathias Klump.

I have a query,

I want to know how contents.py takes only the newest binaries for writing the contents.

In sql_create_temp, what are we doing exactly ?

All I see is a clause "desc version"
