Following up on my question during today's BoF: saying "I don't care" to a
contributor's feedback request, even for a component for which you indeed
don't care, is a great way to discourage that person (and likely others too)
to also contribute to the stuff for which you do care.
Ganneff,
I understand that the need for a dinstall replacement is not a pressing matter
anymore. I appreciate your promise to eventually look into it, but I'd be
perfectly OK also with stating publicly that "it's not really needed anymore".
