here's a simpler way to use debian-cd from svn:

 cd my-simple-cdd
 apt-get install subversion
 svn checkout svn://svn.debian.org/debian-cd/trunk/ debian-cd
 mkdir -p profiles
 echo debian_cd_dir='$simple_cdd_dir/debian-cd' >> profiles/default.conf
