I just want to mention that in the log file
/srv/alioth.debian.org/chroot/home/groups/cdd/webtools/logs/debian-science.out
those packages are mentioned that have resolved ITP bugs and thus can be
removed from the prospective package list in the tasks files to keep these
clean from cruft.
One more hint: in the same directory is the file
debian-science.out
which lists suspicious things. Many of them are listed because packages
vanished or were renamed - others are mentioned because the tool is weak
to detect alternatives properly. But having a look into this file from
time to time helps to detect problematic dependencies in the tasks file.
