CVS commit mailing list does not yet work

Hi,

my latest commit throwed the following error:

$ cvs commit lintian.overrides
Checking in lintian.overrides;
/cvsroot/cdd/cdd/common/cdd/debian/lintian.overrides,v  <--  lintian.overrides

rcsdiff: RCS/1.1,v: No such file or directory

I never got any mail from CVS about some changes and thus I guess the interface
is not yet working.  Anybody able to fix this?
