Indeed, that is indeed how DNS reports it... but it is like that,
because master.debian.org hosts the list archives... but
murphy.debian.org does the mail.. how does that work? via MX records:
$ mx lists.debian.org
lists.debian.org MX 10 klecker.debian.org
lists.debian.org MX 0 murphy.debian.org
lists.debian.org MX 5 master.debian.org
so, all mail to lists.debian.org eventually makes its way to
murphy.debian.org, since it has priority 0 .
lists.debian.org A 216.234.231.130
master.debian.org A 216.234.231.130
murphy.debian.org A 216.234.231.6
and from memory, murphy is actually sitting on the shelf beside master.
