Uhm.  So what makes you have the list in BOTH the To: and Cc: headers?

When I send the mail I debian-curiosa@lists.debian.org in the Cc, because I hit reply to all and then remove the senders name form the To: line. I'm guessing that the mailing list software adds it to the To: when it receives it.

A couple other problems:
  -you don't know what to do if you're replying to the first post of a
   thread (so you'll have to pick a default action)

I don't first post.

and
  -the person that you're replying to might send a copy to the person
   and the list because that person had requested to be Cc'ed.

I don't care enough, or I've been following the thread long enough to know which is the case.
