I'm a little confused.
My reading of the debian-devel discussion was that Lucas had already
modified the MBF in a manner consistent with what you're asking for.
It looks like there was a bug in the criteria he used, and it sounds
like he already agrees that a few bugs were filed that should not have
been.
It sounds like he's actively working to fix that.


I think asking the TC to get involved here is a great idea on the
other issues you ask about.
I'm just not sure there is a contraversyfor the TC on the specific
case of the MBF itself.
