Well spotted. cheers for feedback.

OK. Punit (and I) prepared an updated package with the above fixes,
and htmake/htconfig dropped, so it's now pretty much a vanilla
upstream package.

I've done a 5-day delayed NMU to experimental of 6.5.5-0.2. I'll put
some more details in #816924

This is essentially a candidate for unstable/stretch, should 'putting
v6 in unstable or stretch' be agreed-upon. So anyone who cares should
check it out and file bugs.
