The "print server" entry in tasksel should be rethought, as it nowadays only
depends on CUPS, and recommends various helper drivers & co. If one really
wants to setup a shared print server, they would install CUPS on a pristine
Debian and configure CUPS from there on. If CUPS is "only" meant to be used as
local print server, it should really be a recommends of the desktop tools
caring about printing.
I don't really see the point anymore about having this entry in the d-i tasks
selection; and would suggest to remove it entirely, and (eventually) add an
entry in the Release Notes saying "if you want a print-server, install CUPS".
Btw, there's https://bugs.debian.org/824645 for which I put up a cleanup
patch, but I can't push it. :/
