I'll call for a vote on June 15 unless people either seem to believe
earlier is better or I hear objections.
However, between now and then, I'd really appreciate proposals from
folks who think this can be trimmed or made less formal.
I bet we can find common ground.
For myself there are a couple of bits that I consider really important:
1) I hope the TC as a body supports the idea that this is a way
forward. That is, I hope we're sending positive support, not just
standing aside from Christian.

I hope that when we see something like this issue we try and turn it
into something positive. I hope that in time the aptitude community
becomes stronger than it did before any devisiveness.
I'd like to see the TC support that by giving its best advice on how
this might turn into something positive.
I've done that above.
I know it's a bit wordy, and I'd appreciate ways to improve it, but I'd
be really happy if we could give our best advice or how to turn this
into something positive at the time we vote.
While I would love to improve wording, I do think we should vote soon
and I hope we don't push discussions much past the 15th.
