I do understand your POV in that "a menu file it's simple enough" [simple] but 
I also read a lot of people complaining about us maintainers not testing our 
packages [0] and now we are suggested to not test a patch, even if it's small 
or "simple".

So, for the sake of coherence, I will not buy that argument.

[simple] as long as you remember the format. I don't.

[0] I do also recognize that sometimes it's practically impossible to test 
everything, and there is always the human factor to have mistakes.
