Yes, that would be the Red Hat conspiracy theory that I was referring to
as toxic when I was arguing against the similar Canonical conspiracy.

Incidentally, you may want to know that the supposedly awful stability
regression involving re-exec on upgrade mentioned in that blog post about
systemd is how sysvinit works today.  That would be one of the lesser
inaccuracies of that essay.
