That is about Fedora, and about Linux, but *not* about Debian.
Debian only has got so far *because* it allows everyone to choose
which software to use for a particular task, be it editor or desktop
environment or, as there was a famous joke, some particular implementa‐
tion of a multi-port serial controller something.
