Debian's job is delivering a spot-on OS. Diverging with everyone else
means we have to spend time and effort doing stuff that doesn't matter,
namely, maintaining our own patches and changes to make software run in
Debian, rather then spending effort on ensuring everything's stable.

I know some folks enjoy this work, but I sure don't.
