Since I don't think this is a question for the TC to decide on, I
don't think any member of the TC needs ex officio to see this
information. If the rest of the committee agree with my view that
this isn't within our remit, then they won't need to see it either.

Strictly personal opinions follow:

Of course as a developer and participant, in my personal capacity, I'm
curious. And since you thought it _was_ within our remit, it's clear
that you should have provided the references (at least to all of the
public discussion), since we obviously couldn't overrule the decision
without reviewing the basis for it.

If you choose to try to appeal this decision via a GR (which would be
the appropriate appeal route) then potential sponsors of your GR will
presumably want that information and of course if you get enough
sponsors and it goes to a vote, all of the developers will want it
too. But I would ask you to please not waste everyone's time with
that (since I think you would lose that appeal too and just make
everyone more annoyed with you).

You should move on and work in the way the DPL has outlined.

I realise this is galling but part of being a grown-up is to take the
consequences of your behaviour, and try to demonstrate to people that
you're a good and useful participant, rather than beating them over
the head.

Ian.
