Dear Maintainer,

*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***

   * What led up to the situation?
     upgrade from bookworm to trixi
   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?
Resolved by manual upgrade of clx at least version 0.7.6
Building clx from https://github.com/sharplispers/clx using ASDF
This issue appears from sbcl-2.4.6-103-g9e354f04e, when SBCL's read-sequence was corrected.
clx from 0.7.6 handles this and works with SBCL 2.4.6 as well.
     see https://github.com/stumpwm/stumpwm/issues/1201
   * What was the outcome of this action?
     stumpwm compiles and starts
   * What outcome did you expect instead?
