Bug#1026311: ITS: cl-clx-sbcl
Package: cl-clx-sbcl
Version: 0.7.4.20160323-1.1
Severity: important
X-Debbugs-Cc: debian-common-lisp@lists.debian.org
Dear Milan,
I would like to salvage cl-clx-sbcl.
The interest occurs to me when I am trying to fix the RC bug for
stumpwm (Bug 1020162). The latest version (22.11) of stumpwm requires
a newer clx.
The package in Debian is outdated. It was even suggested at the
upstream issue tracker to uninstall Debian clx packages to manually
compile stumpwm[1,2,3].
At present the cl-clx-sbcl uses a very old Debian standard since 2016
and has 2 bugs (#816749, #1013680) unanswered.
I think you might be occupied and need help to get this package in
shape. Shall we put it into group maintenance of the common lisp
team? I tracked my efforts to bump it by creating a new repository
under the common lisp team at salsa and drafted a merge request[4].
Looking forward to your messages.
Cheers,
Benda
