As I said in a previous mail, my policy so far has been to follow the
versioning practices of Quicklisp, so as to not introduce a wedge in
the CL community. So IMHO, as upstream, you should also request a
change in the versioning scheme used by Quicklisp, which currently
distributes git snapshots:
https://github.com/quicklisp/quicklisp-projects/blob/master/projects/anaphora/source.txt
