Hmm okay, sounds like it's a bug in sbcl rather than cl-ironclad, then.

We currently use the release tarballs from URIs matching:

<https://sf.net/sbcl/sbcl-*-source.tar.bz2>

plus these patches:

<https://salsa.debian.org/common-lisp-team/sbcl/-/tree/master/debian/patches>

a couple of which are backported from git.

(If I continue to be the only person working on sbcl packaging in
Debian, I'll probably switch to packaging git revisions not tarballs,
and patches in git not in a directory like this, which'll mean that you
can work with our git repo directly.)
