This is weird. src/configure is generated from autoconf and for sure
support --build and --host.
| $ ./configure --build=powerpc-linux-gnu --host=s390-linux-gnu
| [...]
| checking build system type... powerpc-unknown-linux-gnu
| checking host system type... s390-ibm-linux-gnu
