I tried to reproduce this error on three different chroots (two from
i386, one through cowbuilder and the other "normal", and one from amd64,
"normal"), but without success, i.e. the package was always built fine.

I'd say that if there was an error, it was fixed in gcc, since nothing
changed for cmucl. Moreover, the main binary package is build only on
i386.
Lucas, how should I proceed? Should I tag the bug unreproducible and
close it? Or just downgrage to important? IMO it's clearly not RC.
