That response comes across as quite rude.
Thomas presented what appeared to be a good argument for why the module
should be in the cloud kernel and asked what I interpreted as a
question about what process to go through to get that to happen.
You must know that process from your involvement in the kernel team.
It seems like better responses could have included:
1) Here's the process (file a bug on linux?)
2) I've done that; here's the process for the future.
3) Adding that module to the cloud kernel is less desirable than you
think for these reasons. Here's what's going on.
