Hi, Actually s3 might not be as expensive as one might think if you are loading the data into an instance in the same region as the s3 bucket instead of going to the public internet with the data. Uploading out of Aws is where things get expensive as this is basically $.09 per GB or on average $30 per megabit of upload bandwidth. It all really depends on how the different resources are used.
