Sure, we can do that with AWS. The sponsor already acknowledged that
they are okay with that.
We intend to put those ressources into a shared hosting account, at
least for now. All ressources are managed using Terraform. Merge
requests can be used to propose changes.
You now need to decide on your wishlist. I would propose to start with
one system. With something like 8 cpus, 32 GB ram, 500 MB/s network,
125 MB/s storage and 3 kIOPS. If I look at my own systems, this might
suffice for 40 normal push clients.
We can easily scale vertically to 64 cpus, 256 GB ram, 25
Gbps network, 1000 MB/s storage and 16 kIOPS. I hope this is not
needed, but I would like to have some real data first.
