Debian on Google Compute Engine announcement

Hi everyone,

This Google blog post just went out: http://googleappengine.blogspot.com/2013/05/bringing-debian-to-google-compute-engine.html Of special note here is that Google Compute Engine will soon be defaulting to Debian.

As the blog post indicates, Google's docs have been updated to reflect the Debian launch. The images from before May 7 have been removed and the current ones won't vanish without notice.

Thanks for your feedback, code collaboration, and testing so far. We look forward to continuing the relationship!
