Hiya,
muine hasn't been actively maintained upstream since 2009[0], and now
FTBFS due to not keeping up with GTK+ deprecations. While we could
patch this FTBFS, it's only a matter of time before more serious
breakage happens and it's just not worth keeping the package
around. There are also not many users[1].
It's time to let it go.
Please remove muine from unstable now. I'll file bugs against the
reverse recommends and suggests to get it delisted.
