Bug#997874: django-uwsgi: autopkgtest regression: No module named 'django_uwsgi_ng'

Source: django-uwsgi
Version: 1.1.2-1
X-Debbugs-CC: debian-ci@lists.debian.org
Severity: serious
User: debian-ci@lists.debian.org
Usertags: regression

Dear maintainer(s),

With a recent upload of django-uwsgi the autopkgtest of django-uwsgi
fails in testing when that autopkgtest is run with the binary packages
of django-uwsgi from unstable. It passes when run with only packages
from testing. In tabular form:

                       pass fail
django-uwsgi from testing 1.1.2-1
all others from testing from testing

I copied some of the output at the bottom of this report. It seems to me
that because the old package is now a dummy package autodep8 doesn't
spot the right module to include. autodep8 has the ability to be taught
the right name of the module to include, see $(man autodep8) under
`PACKAGE-SPECIFIC CONFIGURATION`.

Currently this regression is blocking the migration to testing [1]. Can
you please investigate the situation and fix it?
