It passes when run with only packages from testing. In tabular form: pass fail python3.7 from testing 3.7.5-2 ceph from testing 12.2.11+dfsg1-2.1 all others from testing from testing I copied some of the output at the bottom of this report, the failure is on a deprecation *warning*. Please disable warnings like that, or enable the allow-stderr restriction in your test as we don't want autopkgtest to fail on warning in the Debian setup. Currently this regression is blocking the migration of python3.7 to testing [1]. Of course, python3.7 shouldn't just break your autopkgtest (or even worse, your package), but it seems to me that the change in python3.7 was intended and your package needs to update to the new situation. I'll mark your test as allowed to fail to enable python3.7 to migrate.
