Bug#911488: path.py: autopkgtest regression

Source: path.py
Version: 11.5.0-1
Severity: serious
X-Debbugs-CC: debian-ci@lists.debian.org
User: debian-ci@lists.debian.org
Usertags: regression

Dear maintainers,

With a recent upload of path.py the autopkgtest of path.py fails in
testing when that autopkgtest is run with the binary packages of path.py
from unstable. It passes when run with only packages from testing. In
tabular form:
                       pass fail
path.py from testing 11.5.0-1
all others from testing from testing

I copied some of the output at the bottom of this report.

Currently this regression is contributing to the delay of the migration
to testing [1]. Can you please investigate the situation and fix it? I
fielded the bug as serious as the error seems to show that the package
is really broken. Please lower the severity if I misjudged this.

More information about this bug and the reason for filing it can be found on

Paul
