Developing the debci on Ubuntu or Debian

Hi everybody,

I have just joined the list and recently started to play around the debci a
bit.

I've got Debian 8 installed and tried to install dependencies such as
ruby-foreman and etc.

I figured out that these packages are on Ubuntu and for installing them on
Debian I should use backporting or so.

*Do you recommend to run or develop debci on Ubuntu or Debian?*
