现在可能是最终解决了，参照国外ubuntu论坛上的方法：
编辑/etc/modprobe.d/aliases.conf，加入以下三行：
alias cdrom off
alias ide_cd_mod off
alias sr_mod off
编辑/etc/rc.local，加入相应的三行：
rmmod ide_cd_mod
rmmod sr_mod
rmmod cdrom
现在await大大减小，“卡”的感觉没有了：
$ iostat -x
Linux 2.6.32-5-686 (debian) 10/04/2010 _i686_ (1 CPU)
