关于nvidia驱动安装问题

系统是debian lenny.
显卡是: VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation G70 [GeForce 7600 GS] (rev a1)

因为想安装一下 compiz，但3D加速没有启用（根据网上文档操作）：
zwang@i965:~$ sudo glxinfo | grep 'direct rendering'

所以根据文档提示需要安装nvidia驱动，下载的是 NVIDIA-Linux-x86-173.14.05-pkg1.run，然后alt+crtl＋F6切换到终端下安装该驱动，可惜不成功！
