关于 apcalc 与 apcalc-common 包的几个翻译问题

我在翻译 apcalc 与 apcalc-common 包时遇到了几个问题，特向大家请教
1.C-like 是否可以翻译为 类 C 语言

2.Calc is useful as a calculator, an algorithm prototyper and as a
 mathematical research tool.

其中的prototyper 是否可以翻译为 原型机。

3.Calc
 is built on top of the library libcalc that represents numeric values
 as fractions reduced to their lowest terms.

其中`fractions reduced to their lowest terms'是否为最简分数的意思？

4.
manpage 可否翻译为手册页？
common files 可否翻译为共用文件？
architecture independent files 翻译为  架构独立文件  还是  硬件体系独立文件？


如果有类似 Developer Reference 的文档翻译成中文了，我想会很有帮助，不过似乎没有。
