我也遇到过这样的问题，后来简单的复制了c:/windows/fonts/simsun.ttc字体到
/usr/share/fonts/truetype/openoffice中，然后再在openoffice中选择默认字体为simsun，就解决了
注：须先在XF86Configure-4文件中的fonts段中，加入对truetype的支持
