[SCIM] GTK+ 2.4 entering unstable, scim will be broken
To all the Alioth SCIM package users --
Thanks to Carlos's notice, I saw that GTK+ 2.4 is starting to unstable
(which means we are going to see GNOME 2.6 soon :-). However the scim
packages on chinese.alioth.debian.org is compiled against GTK+ 2.2, and
will NOT work under GTK+ 2.4.
So please hold your GTK+ packages to 2.2, or recompile SCIM packages
after you upgrade to GTK+ 2.4.
The packages on alioth now don't have a correct dependency, so if you
upgrade to GTK+ 2.4, they will just fail to work siliently. I'll
prepare a new scim package when I upgrade my system to GTK+ 2.4 and make
sure it depends on GTK+ >= 2.4.0 so that you can't install it with GTK+
2.2.
Thanks,
Ming

We used to think that if we know one, we know two, because one and one are
two. We are finding that we must learn a great deal more about ``and''.
