在xf86 4.3中X Client使用了Xcursor库来绘制透明带阴影的光标
光标的图标位置符合freedesktop.org的标准,即会按照
$HOME/.icons,  /usr/share/icons,
/usr/share/pimaps, /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/icons
的顺序查找图标文件

通过指定资源Xcursor.size和Xcursor.theme来修改配置,例如:
在启动的默认资源文件里面($HOME/.Xdefaults or
$HOME/.Xresources)添加:
Xcursor.size: 16
Xcursor.theme: redglass

还可以通过修改/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/icons/default/index.theme
将Inherits=whiteglass修改为Inherits=redglass
新启动的X Client的窗口中,鼠标就是红色
