Globalization Terminal - 国际语言终端机/万国终端机

为 1999 - 2000，网虎国际股份有限公司 (Wahoo International Enterprise) 所开
发。主要开发者为 Brian Lin (aka foxman)。

  Globalization TTY 由三个基本元件组成，分别是 vgl, zwin, g11n。国际语言终端
机，同时支援简体中文、日文、克林贡语、韩文、繁体中文 CCCII、繁体中文 CNS、
GCS、繁体中文大五码等字码显示。此外目前支援的输入法模组共计二十八种。简体中
文 23 种、日文 2 种、 克林贡语 1 种、韩文 2 种、CCCII 2 种、CNS 1 种、 GCS 4
种、繁体中文 23 种。 目前中文输入法有 三码大易 四角号码 行列输入法 内码输入
仓颉输入法 刘式输入 普实台文 大易输入法 轻松输入法 客家音输入 华象输入 许式
输入 我的仓颉 拼音输入法 罗马拼音 双拼输入法 简易输入法 快仓五代 王码输入法
五笔输入法 国标自然 虾不吃米等。美观的介面与滑鼠支援。整体来讲，g11ntty 是一
个 well design 的中文系统。最适合使用来连上 BBS 的字型大小是 8x16。在某些火
鸟 BBS 系统有些问题。

  在经过一两年没有人维护后，现在再把它挖出来试著去改进他。

  Debain User 请设定 /etc/apt/source.list 加入
  deb http://kalug.linux.org.tw/~chihchun/debian/g11n ./
  deb-src http://kalug.linux.org.tw/~chihchun/debian/g11n ./

  然后 apt-get install vgl zwin g11n g11ntty 即可。
  (请注意, 本版本有些系统安全问题, 在多帐号环境下某些意图不良用户将将可能透过
  特定暂存档造成系统损毁, 请自行负责)

  此外，据说此 project 其中使用到的 GCS 部份有申请专利，但不清楚专利所有人是
  谁，也不清楚是否确实立案。唯一可以肯定的是这些程式都是 GPL/LPGL。 ;-)

  由于联络不到 foxman, 我将独自试著去维护, 未来有机会会将公布 public cvs
  server and setup a project web site.

  不用太期待，我很懒惰，有兴趣者请来信指教。
