有关的更改需要reboot外,你应不需reboot at all.

1.1) 如下 XF86Config-4 e.g

/usr/share/fonts/truetype/arphic/ ##我用的版本可能有出入,但可用 locate
arphic 看看

Load "xtt" ##我并不知有freetype中文字与否

2) 设定personalize --->Country&Language---->locales 及 charset
look & feel ---> fonts ----> anti-aliasing 否则很难看, 及相应的字形便可
logout, ctrl-alt backspace ( lazy ) or restart /etc/init.d/kdm restart
