The CNS fonts for X are in the new xfonts-intl-chinese_1.2-1 package
package that just entered Debian unstable:

*** How-ever ***, do NOT install this package yet.  Wait until 1.2-2
or until I say otherwise.  Many important font aliases have gone missing,
rendering much of the Debian Chinese system in X unusable.  (Yikes!)
I just filed an "important" bug report against xfonts-intl-chinese_1.2-1.
I'll let you know when the problem gets fixed.
