  这是问题出处了。用 XFree86 4.0.x 时,不是安装 xfstt,而是
根本不再需要 X font server。要的是载入 "xtt" 这个 module。你可以把
FontPath "unix/:????" 拿掉了!请看 Debian Chinese FAQ 的说明。

  你在□哪里□打中文字?是在 xcin + crxvt-big5 里吗?
另外,我的 ~/.muttrc 里加了以下两行与中文支援有关的:

	set send_charset=us-ascii:iso-8859-1:big5:gb2312:utf-8
	set allow_8bit

这个我不清楚,我没有真正试过用中文的 gdm。我倒是在 ~/.xsession 的
开头加了以下几行:

	LANG=zh_TW.Big5
	LC_ALL=zh_TW.Big5
	LC_CTYPE=zh_TW.Big5
	KDE_LANG=zh_TW.Big5
	XMODIFIERS="@im=xcin"
	export LANG LC_ALL LC_CTYPE KDE_LANG XMODIFIERS
