xfonts-* 中的 fonts.alias 是给xtt用的,freetype会看不懂
把/etc/X11/XF86Config-4 中的
Load "freetype"
改成
Load "xtt"
这样应该可以正常运作了
我的经验：
netscape 4.76 在 glibc 2.2环境下 无法正常运作
mozilla-M18无法正常使用ttf
请升级到 Mozilla-0.7
对了,顺便一问
你的xcin/cinput可以在 GNOME/KDE2 上正常运作吗?
我升级到xfree86 4.0.2 以后 xcin 就只能在crxvt-big5上
输入中文了,希望其他在论坛上的朋友也能够
