It's a bug, and has been fixed in unicon_3.0.3-7  You needn't copy pinyin.map to that directory. 
It works for me now.

你指的是unicon_3.0.4-1_i386.changes吗? 这个是制作deb包时自动生成的.
It's not a part of source.
