I thought I already answered this before.  It appears that you are trying
to use a XFree86 3.3.6 XF86Config file with XFree86 4.x.

They are incompatible, and that is why we differentiate between
/etc/X11/XF86Config and /etc/X11/XF86Config-4.  We can't mix them.

Backup your old /etc/X11/XF86Config, and use appropriate tools
to generate /etc/X11/XF86Config-4.
